How Long Does It Take to See Botox Results?

14 Sep 2021 How Long Does It Take to See Botox Results?

Botox is a prescription drug scientifically known as botulinum toxin, which is a neurotoxin produced by clostridium botulinum. It weakens or paralyzes muscles.

Some brands of Botulinum toxin include Dysport, Xeomin, Myobloc, and Jeuveau. Most people refer to the treatment as Botox because this is the most popular brand.

Doctors use small quantities of Botox to treat migraines, muscular disorders, excessive sweating, neck spasms, and facial lines, and wrinkles. Our focus is on how it treats facial lines and wrinkles.

How Does Botox Work?

As a cosmetic, Botox is used to treat frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet—lines around the eyes. Some studies show that it will not help with wrinkles brought about by gravity or sun damage. Basically, it blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles hence preventing the muscles from contracting. Consequently, this relaxes or softens wrinkles, giving a youthful look.

The treatment procedure is pretty simple. Your doctor will inject Botox underneath the skin, into the specific muscles you intend to target. For your comfort, the doctor may use anesthesia on these areas, but it is not necessary. The procedure should only take a few minutes.

What Ensures the Best Results?

The Common side effects of Botox are eye irritation and redness or bruising. To minimize the side effects and get the best results, your doctor may advise you to take the following actions:

  • Avoid alcohol from at least a week to the procedure
  • Stop taking anti-inflammatory medication and aspirin two weeks before the treatment to prevent bruising
  • To avoid spreading Botox to unwanted areas, refrain from rubbing the injection site for at least 24 hours.
  • Stay upright for up to four hours after the injection
  • Do not exercise for at least a day.

How Long Before You See Results?

According to statistics, Botox takes anything from seven to 14 days to have a full effect. The duration may be determined by your age, gender, muscle mass, skin elasticity, the type of Botox used, and the injection volume in terms of dosage.

Depending on the size of the muscle, the effect lasts for three to six months. Another determinant of this is the heaviness of the dosage you receive. Your healthcare provider should help you choose a dosage that won’t make you look too unnatural.

It is important to note that Botox is not necessarily a permanent solution. Once the effect wears off, you will need to have another treatment. Studies show that, on average, most mild-dosed treatments last for four months. Based on this, you need at least three treatments per year.

Bottom Line

If you decide to have a Botox treatment, ensure you find a board-certified physician to perform the procedure. Carry out sufficient research and settle on a doctor who will help you understand all the factors that come into play when you use Botox and, most importantly, one who will give you the results you desire.

3 Things You Can Expect If You Have Botox Injections

29 Mar 2021 3 Things You Can Expect If You Have Botox Injections
Posted at 13:19h in Botox 0 Likes

Are you interested in reducing your wrinkles, crow’s feet, or frown lines and looking to rejuvenate your skin? If so, you aren’t alone. Botox is the most popular cosmetic procedure in the country and one of the most requested services at our clinic. If you are considering getting Botox injections for the first time, you might be wondering what you can expect from the procedure. How does Botox work? Are there any side effects? How long does it last? These are all common questions and it’s important to understand this procedure so you can make an informed decision about what is best for you.

What is Botox?

Botox is an FDA approved injectable that works to temporarily weaken the muscles in your face that cause wrinkles, laugh lines, creases around your mouth, and crow’s feet. The treatment is a safe and effective way to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and improve the appearance of the skin. Botox injections are the most frequently performed noninvasive procedures and take only about 10-15 minutes to complete.

What to Expect After Your Injection

Botox is a quick, safe, and effective procedure that can help to rejuvenate the skin, leaving you with a more youthful appearance. As with any procedure, there may be some side effects associated with your injection, though these are generally mild. Here is an idea of what you can expect after the procedure.

1) You Can Resume Normal Activity Immediately

One of the reasons so many people choose Botox injections is because they are fast and convenient. It takes only a matter of minutes to complete the procedure, so you can actually have it done on your lunch hour. You can expect to resume your normal daily activities right after the procedure. You should, however, avoid lying down for four hours following treatment. Immediately after your treatment, you may notice small red bumps but these should go away in about 20-30 minutes. Swelling and redness may occur, though this is not common with every patient. If you do notice these symptoms, they should resolve within an hour. Alternatively, bruising could occur, though this is less likely. To reduce inflammation and swelling, take care not to rub or massage the treated area right after the procedure.

2) You Should Notice Results in 2-5 Days

Botox will smooth your skin, but you will not notice the results immediately. In most cases, it will take about 2-3 days to see the first changes and it could take up to two weeks for the injection to take full effect. It’s important to note that cosmetic procedures are not immediate and they are also not a one and done procedure.

3) Results Usually Last About 3 to 5 Months

Botox is not a permanent procedure and over time the treatment is metabolized by the body. One treatment lasts between three to five months on average, though results vary depending on the individual patient. For continuous results, schedule treatments at regular intervals with your specialist. If at any time you choose to discontinue treatment, your lines and wrinkles will gradually return over time.

Tips for Finding a Reputable Botox Professional Near You

22 Dec 2020 Tips for Finding a Reputable Botox Professional Near You
Posted at 11:07h in Botox 0 Likes

Botox was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a cosmetic treatment in 2002. The popularity of onabotulinumtoxinA, the drug’s chemical name, for cosmetic purposes is growing every year. This demand has encouraged many unlicensed beauty industry figures to offer bootleg Botox to clients at deeply-discounted prices. For this reason, finding a reputable Botox provider near you is more challenging than ever before. Read our guide to understand the key factors in finding a reputable botox professional in your area.

Understand How Certification Works

Nurse practitioners (NPs), physicians’ assistants (PAs), and physicians can legally prescribe and administer Botox to patients in the United States. Registered nurses (RAs) can administer Botox but only under a physician’s supervision. Aestheticians, also known as beauticians, are not legally allowed to prescribe or inject Botox.

You can verify the medical licenses of NPs, PAs, and physicians with your state’s board of medicine. Many experienced cosmetic surgery patients prefer plastic surgeons to inject their Botox. In the United States, plastic surgeons must be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This certification, which is not required, can be verified online.

Experience Means the World

You should never sacrifice a practitioner’s certification for an unlicensed beautician’s experience. However, when it comes to licensed medical providers, experience means the world. After compiling a list of Botox providers in your area, research how long they’ve been giving Botox treatments for. This information can sometimes be found on reputable providers’ websites. In most cases, you’ll need to call them or visit them in person.

Don’t Be Afraid of Interviewing

Never be afraid to interview cosmetic surgery or medical spa providers. Most providers are too busy to hold free consultations with prospective customers. If you can afford it, pay for a consultation with the provider you’re interested in.

Be prepared to ask questions like:

  • Into how many patients have you injected Botox?
  • Can you give me any references to contact?
  • Will you be injecting my Botox or will one of your staff members?
  • What medical licenses do you hold?

Search for Good Reviews

Customer reviews are very important for Botox providers. Since most patients are deeply concerned about their Botox results, they will scour the Internet for reviews of various providers in their local areas. You should do the same. Look to multiple websites, especially websites designed specifically for hosting healthcare provider reviews, to dig up previous patients’ experiences with the medical facilities you’re considering.

If you know friends, coworkers, family members, or other associates who have received Botox injections, ask them for recommendations. You may be able to secure discounted prices by finding referrals.

Ultimately, you should go with your gut. If you get a bad feeling about a Botox provider, don’t be afraid to opt out. As long as you do your due diligence, however, you shouldn’t have an issue.

Face-lift, Fillers or Botox? How Do I Choose?

10 Nov 2020 Face-lift, Fillers or Botox? How Do I Choose?
Posted at 11:10h in Botox, Facelift, Lip Fillers 0 Likes

Aging is a natural process that brings wisdom and fulfillment. However, the process has tangible effects that you often do not desire. Signs of aging are evident on your face as you grow older, even though you try to hide them. Most people are afraid of wrinkles and sagging skin. If they start to appear, you might want to research the option that will keep them at bay a little longer.

For many people, cosmetic procedures to curb anti-aging are the next step. The main hassle comes in choosing the right facial anti-aging procedure. Facelift, fillers, and Botox are the main procedures. When deciding on which method to choose, some differences occur.

The Differences

You should choose a cosmetic procedure that addresses all of your concerns. Most methods only address some of your problems and not all of them. Here is what each procedure offers.

  • Botox: Botox functions as a muscle relaxer. Thus, you can use Botox to smoothen muscles such as frown lines, worry lines, and pursed-lip wrinkles. Botox does not restore volume to the face, neither does it lift sagging skin. When combined with thermal fillers, Botox can fix some of your aging issues.
  • Fillers: Filler treatment is a dermal injectable. The injection contains calcium, hyaluronic acid, or collagen. The injection eliminates wrinkles, raises scars, and enhances lips. Facial fillers range from temporary treatments to long-lasting solutions.
  • Facelifts: A facelift, on the other hand, can address all your worries at once. It eliminates sagging skin and loosens facial muscles. If you’re interested in getting rid of your sagging muscles and wrinkles, a facelift is better.

Recovery Time

The recovery time for each procedure differs and can therefore affect your choice.

  • Since Botox is non-surgical, many clients tend to prefer it. Botox is quick and painless. Thus, you can return to your daily activities immediately after the procedure. Clients with fewer aging concerns benefit from faster recovery times.
  • Once a filler is injected, the recovery time varies between the patient and the type of filler used. Mostly, you can resume your daily activities immediately. However, doctors recommend that you refrain from any physical activity after the session for 24-48 hours.
  • A facelift is an invasive procedure. The recovery time can range from a few weeks to a few months. This recovery time is necessary for the swelling and scarring to diminish. Facelifts require daunting commitments. If your doctor recommends facelifts over Botox, do not be afraid of the recovery time. For better results, you can ask your surgeon to consider combining Botox and dermal fillers.

Long-Term Results

After recovery, the other trade-off is the permanence of the procedures. Botox and fillers often mimic the effects of facelifts. After a Botox procedure, you need another treatment after 3-4 months. Once you select Botox, you will require regular appointments with your surgeon.

Facelifts, on the other hand, will last for 8 to 10 years. If you qualify for a facelift procedure, invest your time and funds on it. As you age, your skin will look years younger.

Is There a Difference Between Botox and Dysport?

02 Sep 2020 Is There a Difference Between Botox and Dysport?
Posted at 20:56h in Botox 0 Likes

Facial rejuvenation has come a long way. Long gone are the days of long recovery periods and hiding from the outside world. Now, in less than 30 minutes, men and women can turn back the hands of time. Botox and Dysport are botulism toxins that temporarily reduce or eliminate wrinkles.

But for someone who is new to the world of injectables, knowing which one to get can be confusing. While both products work essentially the same, there are differences.

Here’s what you need to know about Botox vs Dysport.

What Is Botox?

Botox is a name that everyone knows. For years, it’s been the best way to reduce the appearance of wrinkles around the eye, on the forehead and between the brows. When injected, it temporarily paralyzes the muscles, smoothing out wrinkles caused by age and expression. The results can be nothing short of amazing when injected by an experienced plastic surgeon or dermatologist.

Botox usually lasts about two to three months, sometimes longer with repeat injections. To maintain the same result, you do need to schedule follow-up visits to avoid losing the smoothing effects of Botox.

Botox can be dosed per area or by the unit. Most people have Botox injected into the forehead, in the crow’s feet, between the brows and even into their masseter muscle to slim the jawline.

What Is Dysport?

Dysport is considered to be the alternative to Botox. Like Botox, it’s derived from botulinum. It’s used in the same manner as Botox, which is to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck. However, Dysport is less expensive than Botox, although the longevity is the same, if not sometimes longer.

Dysport also has further spread than Botox, which means you need a smaller quantity when compared to Botox. On average, those who choose Dysport usually need repeat injections every four months.

Now that you know what both Botox and Dysport are, it’s time to answer the question of which is better. The answer is that there is no “better” alternative. It honestly comes down to personal preference. Most people try both products and ultimately decide which one they like more.

Both products should only be administered by a licensed medical professional who has completed specialized training. As safe as both products are, there’s always a risk of side effects, especially if injected by someone with little to no experience.

Will My Wrinkles Get Worse If I Stop Using Botox?

30 Jul 2020 Will My Wrinkles Get Worse If I Stop Using Botox?
Posted at 00:39h in Botox 2 Likes

Botox is the most popular nonsurgical cosmetic treatment around the world. It is a neural modulator that can relax the facial muscular contractions that lead to the formation of dynamic wrinkles. The sooner people use Botox and the more faithful they are to the treatments, the better chance they have of minimizing dynamic wrinkles or preventing their formation altogether.

If you have used Botox, circumstances may require that you stop this noninvasive treatment temporarily. For example, pregnancy, breast-feeding, or a change in financial circumstances may make getting Botox treatments inadvisable. In these circumstances, you may ask, “What will happen to my face if I no longer use Botox?”

What Happens When You Stop Using Botox?

Many Botox users are terrified that their faces will become dramatically wrinkled if they stop using the treatment. This is just not the case. When you receive Botox injections, signals between your nerves and your facial muscles are disrupted. Your facial muscles do not contract, so they don’t fold your skin, and you don’t develop dynamic wrinkles.

When you stop using Botox, your muscles will eventually start working as they did before you used the treatment. However, your muscles or your skin do not make up for lost time by accelerating the aging process. You will still look years younger relative to your actual age because for several years you delayed the aging process. The length of time you will have your younger appearance will vary depending on how long you used Botox and how early you started the treatment.

You May Lose Secondary Benefits of Botox Sooner

Many people say that Botox helps them improve the look of their skin as far as texture is concerned. They say that their skin looks smoother and their pores look smaller. Many have experienced a relatively rapid reversal of these secondary benefits of Botox.

To combat these textural concerns, you can change your skincare regimen. You can increase hydration, and you can use products to keep acne under control and to remove dead skin that makes your face look dull.

Don’t Mistake Going Back to Baseline for Your Wrinkles Getting Worse

Once Botox wears off and you don’t get any top ups, you will eventually go back to baseline. Baseline means you will have the wrinkles you had before getting treatments. It can be disturbing, and it might seem like your wrinkles are worse than what they were before. However, the truth is that you have likely forgotten what you looked like with your natural wrinkles, so the change may seem more drastic than what it really is.

Individuals who have used Botox as a long-term treatment may have unknowingly trained themselves not to contract their facial muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles. They could forget the habits of frowning and squinting.

There is nothing harmful about stopping Botox. Nor are there any dangerous or negative side effects. Your muscles will simply not be as relaxed. You will have total mobility of the treated area, regardless of how long you received Botox injections.

Why Men Are Turning to Botox Injections

03 Jun 2020 Why Men Are Turning to Botox Injections
Posted at 19:02h in Botox 0 Likes

Nicknamed “Brotox,” Botox injections for men have increased in popularity in recent years. Cosmetic procedures are no longer only popular with women, and every year, more and more men are seeking out procedures that help them to combat aging. Read this article to learn more about botox injections for men.

What Is Botox?

Botox injections are used to combat wrinkles and fine lines in the facial area. Botox works by paralyzing and weakening the muscles surrounding the injection site. The injections are a protein made from botulinum toxin. Although a toxin, it is safe when used correctly and in small doses. There are actually five commercially available versions of botulinum toxin: Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Jeuveau, and Myobloc, all of which are trademarks of various manufacturers. However, Botox has become the generic name for all such products.

Reasons to Choose Botox

In 2016, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery reported that Botox injections were the most popular cosmetic procedure . In 2017, Botox was the top nonsurgical procedure chosen by men, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Men are increasingly turning to Botox to help them look their best. They’ve done so for numerous reasons. Some men have come to realize that they are not immune to the effects of aging. Retaining a youthful appearance is critical in today’s increasingly competitive job market. Some men are also looking for a boost in their dating lives. Still, some men have also come to recognize the positive boost that cosmetic procedures give them. These boosts include improvements in self-esteem and overall happiness.

Even men in their late 20s and 30s are using Botox to prevent wrinkles and retain their self-confidence for as long as possible. Botox can also even help manage adult acne.

Uses for Botox

The effects of Botox are temporary and generally last between three months to a year. Its primary use is to reduce the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles. The most common areas where men get injections are:

  • Around the eyes to target “crow’s feet,” wrinkles around the eyes
  • Around the mouth to target glabellar lines, known as frown lines or “elevens”
  • Around the chin to address areas known as “cobblestones”
  • Around the forehead to minimize creases and wrinkles

Some men have even tried Botox to address issues with their hair or to minimize dark circles underneath their eyes. However, there is little evidence that Botox is an effective treatment for these conditions. Still for men who are looking for a nonsurgical procedure to give them a little “lift,” Botox may just be the answer.

Dysport vs. Botox: What’s the Difference?

05 Mar 2020 Dysport vs. Botox: What’s the Difference?
Posted at 21:43h in Botox 0 Likes

We’re all more than well acquainted with Botox, but have you heard of Dysport? Both Botox and Dysport are forms of botulinum toxins which are injected with the goal of relaxing wrinkles and fine lines. In addition, botulinum toxins can also be incredibly effective when treating muscle spasms in certain health conditions as well as excessive sweating. So, you may have asked yourself, what’s the difference between Botox vs. Dysport?

When it comes to the treatment of wrinkles and fine lines, both Dysport and Botox offer non-invasive, non-surgical treatments that can relax the skin’s underlying muscles and therefore reduce the appearance of the wrinkles and fine lines.

While neither Dysport nor Botox will be able to truly rid you of all your wrinkles for good, they can both certainly make them less noticeable than they otherwise were. Here’s how these two injectable muscle relaxers compare.

What Does Dysport Treat?

Much as is the case with Botox too, Dysport is used for the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles around the face, however, Dysport has only been approved for the FDA for the treatment of glabellar lines, the lines between the eyebrows that reach upward towards the forehead, otherwise known as frown lines.

Dynamic wrinkles are those that appear when you make expressions, including frown lines and crow’s feet, but they can become static wrinkles over time due to reduced collagen in the skin.

As the skin both loses collagen and its ability to produce collagen as we age, naturally-occurring fine lines and wrinkles begin to set in and remain, even as we relax our faces. In essence, collagen is a protein that’s responsible for our skin being able to maintain its elasticity.

While Botox is approved for a variety of wrinkles and health conditions, Dysport is only used for the treatment of frown lines, and specifically moderate to severe wrinkles. Mild glabellar lines won’t respond to the Dysport treatment.

What Does BOTOX Treat?

Whereas Dysport is only FDA approved for the treatment of moderate to severe glabellar lines, BOTOX can treat mild glabellar lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet too. It may also be used to treat hyperhidrosis or excess sweating as well as muscle spasms.

What Are the Dysport and Botox Procedures Like?

The procedure for both Dysport and Botox injections is essentially the same. They’re both performed in a specialist’s office, and they should take only a few minutes to complete, depending on the overall number of injections required. Each treatment breaks down as such:

  • Glabellar lines: 5 injection sites required, and approximately 20 units of Botox/50 units of Dysport
  • Glabellar and forehead lines: 10 injection sites required, and about 40 units of Botox
  • Crow’s feet: 10 injection sites required and around 24 units of Botox
  • If combining glabellar lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet, 64 total units of Botox are usually required.

How Do the Results Compare?

Whereas invasive, surgical alternatives require a fair amount of downtime and recovery, this isn’t the case with Botox or Dysport, and the results should start to be visible after only a few days.

The results of Dysport treatment appear in only a couple of days and can last for as long as 3 to 4 months before any additional maintenance injections are required. Botox, however, can take as long as a week or more for the results to show, sometimes even as much as a month. Some Botox injections can last for as long as 6 months, although typically will only last around 3 to 4.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that the average cost of Dysport treatment comes in around $100 cheaper per session than Botox while offering the same results.

How Long Does Botox Treatment Last?

13 Dec 2019 How Long Does Botox Treatment Last?
Posted at 21:35h in Botox 0 Likes

Botox has been proven to successfully treat wrinkles and fine lines in people of all ages. Medically, it can be used to help muscular conditions such as involuntary spasms. By using a neurotoxin called botulinum, it can be safely used for both medical and cosmetic purposes.

What Does Botox Do?

Botox is an extremely popular non-surgical treatment that is used to treat migraines, excessive sweating, muscular disorders and cosmetic concerns relating to the aging process. By injecting a very small amount of botulinum toxin, specific nerve cells can be effectively paralyzed without freezing the muscle.

Where Is Botox Used?

Botox is frequently used for the purpose of decreasing wrinkles and fine lines. Treatment can effectively be used near the eyes, mouth and forehead. By injecting Botox into the skin, facial wrinkles can temporarily be smoothed leaving a softer and more youthful appearance. The treatment generally lasts for approximately 3 to 12 months depending on which part of the body is treated.

Not all wrinkles are the same. Dynamic wrinkles are frequently caused by excessive muscle movement over time. These lines are found near the mouth (also known as laugh lines) and eyes. Botox works especially well for dynamic wrinkles and can improve facial appearance in a relatively quick amount of time.

Static wrinkles are created when the elasticity of the face has changed from the natural aging process. Those who smoke cigarettes are often more likely to have an excessive amount of static wrinkles. Because the skin becomes thinner and drier, the shape of the face may also change due to a loss of volume. While many people benefit from fillers, Botox can also help reduce the appearance of static wrinkles.

How Many Botox Treatments Are Needed?

Botox is not a one-size-fits-all treatment. Depending on what purpose Botox is being used for as well as the state of one’s skin, the measurement of treatment may change.

Horizontal forehead lines can require up to 20 units of Botox while eye or mouth lines can require less depending on how deep the fine lines are. Generally a trained professional will start a patient with low-dosage Botox. After a few weeks, the option for additional units may become available depending on the outcome of treatment. By visiting the same practitioner, Botox treatment can be monitored over time to see what dosage works best.

Botox treatment is usually performed in four month increments. Factors that may impact how much Botox is needed include gender, the strength of facial muscles, goal of treatment, metabolism and specific facial structure. The results when using Botox treatment last approximately 3 to 4 months, but the effects can be seen in as little as one week.

Botox remains one of the most popular cosmetic treatments in the United States. By using injections on a semi-regular basis, a youthful facial appearance can be maintained over time. While the amount of Botox treatment varies from person to person, it is an effective way to reduce facial wrinkles and fine lines.

Medi Spas: The Secret to Anti-Aging for Men

14 Jun 2019 Medi Spas: The Secret to Anti-Aging for Men

Men age differently than women but both can benefit equally from anti-aging treatments offered at a medical spa. When it comes to treating your body and skin, finding the right fit–comfort, price, schedule, and services–makes all the difference.

Be A Superman: Slow Down The Aging of Your Skin and Body

Unlike Superman, a man’s lifestyle can catch up to him as early as his 40’s. Several factors contribute to aging: stressful careers, struggling with sleep, a poor diet, not enough exercise, a smoking habit, or too much alcohol.

The most prominent place where we begin to show our age is on the face with the inevitable wrinkles and age spots that develop over the years. Men are increasingly looking for a simple, effective and discrete way to reverse the signs of aging and feel better about the way they look in their 40s, 50s and older.  A medi spa with trained professionals and an accredited facility is a great start to a more youthful look.

What To Look For In A Medi Spa as a Man

Medical spas are not just for women. As more and more men experience the benefits of anti-aging treatments such as microderm abrasion, Emsculpt and Botox the more medi spas will cater to them. It is important to look for a medi spa that understands what men need to know to choose the best anti-aging options.

Which medi spa is right for you? Do your research online. Go ahead and ask your female friends, your sister or your wife about their experiences with medi spa treatments. Get a sense of what a medical spa has to offer.

Ideally, you want a facility that is accredited, has excellent reviews and where staff are licensed and certified. Make sure the the pricing is competitive but remember you usually get what you pay for. The staff should make it easy to schedule an appointment and most importantly, ensure all of your questions are answered.

Once you have done your research, ask yourself a few key questions:

Q1: What are my goals for treatment?

This is an essential place to start with any aesthetic treatment or cosmetic procedure. Everyone’s goals are unique so take some time to think about what you are ultimately looking to accomplish.

Q2: Do I understand which treatments are the best for me? Do I still have questions?

Most of your specific questions can be addressed during an initial consultation at the medi spa. Neaman Medi Spa offers free consultation from trained professionals for all inquiring patients and this is key to making sure patients understand their treatment options and how to accomplish their goals.

Q3: How dedicated am I to looking younger and feeling great about myself?

Some treatments, like tattoo removal or laser hair removal, may require multiple visits until you’ll see the results you want so make sure you understand your level of commitment to meeting your goals. Also consider your budget for treatment as this will impact your available options.

Ink With Age And Tattoo Removal

For many different reasons, it is estimated that 16% of people regret getting tattooed. Whatever your reason may be for regretting past ink, it’s important to understand your options for tattoo removal.

Neaman Plastic Surgery uses the Lutronic Spectra Laser for tattoo removal as well as many other treatments.  The Spectra Laser is a trusted and effective tool used for several treatment applications including laser resurfacing, acne scars, pigmented and vascular lesions, and melasma (brown spots).

Other Medi Spa Laser Treatments Every Man Should Consider

Laser Hair Removal is a popular treatment at Neaman. Our Lutronic Clarity Laser will safely and totally remove unwanted hair from your smaller spots on your forehead, to medium locations such as the upper arm, and larger areas like your full back or buttocks.

Emsculpt is a transformational technology that uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy or HIFEM, an FDA approved process that actually builds muscle. How? The HIFEM energy destroys fat (adipose) cells. Emsculpt is also very effective for improving muscle tone in the abs, thighs and buttocks.

Laser treatment of excessive sweating ensures pinpoint accuracy to target sweat glands while preserving the surrounding skin. Consult an experienced cosmetic nurse or surgeon on your options. You do not have to put up with Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating any longer.
