During your treatment, the technician begins by cleaning the skin to be treated. A cooling gel is then applied to the area. You receive dark glasses to protect your eyes before the treatment begins. The treatment is not painful and therefore no anesthetic is necessary. However, stinging or tingling sensations may occur. Some patients compare this to the sensation of a rubber band being snapped against your skin.

HOW LONG IS EACH TREATMENT?

Treatment sessions typically last for a duration of 20 to 30 minutes. Afterward, you can continue your day as you normally would. The treatment area may have some redness and feel warm and there may also be some light swelling. All such effects should subside within a span of several days.
