His academic excellence continued as he transitioned into the prestigious 6-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine immediately after high school. Demonstrating his commitment to medical research and education, Dr. Barnett authored his first publication during his residency, showcasing his proactive and independent approach to his field.
