Dr. Peter Tsai specializes in nerve entrapment syndromes such as cubital and carpal tunnel syndromes. Board-certified, this hand surgeon is also an expert in “trigger fingers,” elbow and shoulder pain, fractures, and hand/upper extremity pain and injuries.
“I like to help people,” Dr. Tsai says. A magna cum laude graduate of Brown University, Dr. Tsai completed his medical school training at New York University followed by a residency at the New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases—one of the leading orthopedic hospitals in the nation. Dr. Tsai continued his passion for orthopedics with a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Tsai believes that patients should be an active partner in their care and treatment. Patients suffering from hand/arm pain often worry about surgery.
Dr. Tsai knows that whenever possible, these issues should be addressed without surgery. However, when surgery is necessary, his expansive training, experience, and commitment to the patient yield the best results.
