As a health-conscious individual, you likely strive to make excellent choices with your diet and exercise. Less sugar, more protein, and regular workouts are all key to helping a person lose weight and keep it off.

Diet as we may and exercise as we might, sometimes it is impossible to get rid of those stubborn pockets of fat. When diet and exercise don’t offer the results you are looking for, CoolSculpting may be just what you need to get rid of those extra bulges.

WHAT IS COOLSCULPTING?

If you have never heard of CoolSculpting, you may have questions about what it is, how it produces results, and how long CoolSculpting results last. CoolSculpting is a revolutionary body contouring technique. It works by freezing those stubborn pockets of fat behind your arms, in your midsection, on your thighs, and in other parts of your body.

It works based on the principle that fat cells are damaged at a temperature that is warmer than the other tissues in your body. Targeted cooling is used to freeze the fat, destroying the fat cells. Once the fat cells are destroyed, your body’s natural waste removal system kicks in and gets rid of the fat. Once fat cells are destroyed, they are gone for good.

HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS FROM COOLSCULPTING LAST?

CoolSculpting treatments will produce visible results just a few weeks after the treatments are complete. It takes around 12 weeks in total for you to see the most dramatic improvements from your treatment.

At the 12-week mark, up to 20% of the targeted fat cells have been destroyed and removed by your body.

The speed with which you see results will vary. It depends on if you are targeting one small region, a larger region, or multiple regions. You may need more than one treatment to see results. CoolSculpting is safe enough that it can be repeated in the same area to maximize results.

Since CoolSculpting destroys fat cells, the results are permanent. Fat cells that have been destroyed do not migrate or grow.

This does not mean that it is impossible for you to put on weight. This is because there is a difference between losing fat cells and losing weight. If you lose weight, you keep the same number of fat cells. The only difference is that the fat cells become smaller.

With CoolSculpting, these fat cells are removed. The bulge of fat you have around your midsection and other parts of your body will disappear. However, if you eat unhealthy foods and don’t exercise, your remaining fat cells can grow. You may not put on weight in the areas that have been treated, but you will put weight on other parts of the body.

CoolSculpting is not designed to replace diet and exercise. It is a tool that can help you reach your fitness goals. The results can be permanent, especially if the treatment is coupled with a healthy diet and a good exercise routine.
