This is a 40-year-old female who was diagnosed with right breast cancer and subsequently underwent bilateral mastectomies. Prior to her procedure she consulted with Salem, Oregon board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Keith Neaman. After a very detailed consultation she elected to proceed with a tissue expander-based reconstruction. She underwent her reconstruction immediately following her mastectomy. Eventually, the tissue expanders were exchanged for permanent implants. At her secondary surgery she also underwent fat grafting to help improve the upper pole fullness of her breasts. Later, she underwent nipple reconstruction and is pictured here at 3 months following her nipple reconstruction.
